The worst grill ever!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the absolute worst charcoal grill I have ever used. It is extrememly difficult to get strated & then you can only grill with it burning wide open. When you attempt to turn down the temperature it totally goes out. You can't see the grates on the bottom to know how far open or closed they are. I absolutely HATE it & would not recommend it to anyone. We have not been able to finish a bar-b-q meal on the grill yet. The only thing we can do is grill steaks or fish with the hotest flame.

Not worth 66% more that the Silver
Weber has removed the thermometer and lid holder from this previously great grill. For the money buy the Silver model. The only difference now between the Silver and the Gold model is the hinged grill and ash holder, what a rip!
